ABOUT US
MISSION

Our mission is to lower the chances of recidivism and divert funding from incarceration to re-entry. We want individuals to change their point of view about leaving prison and the negative outcomes often associated.  Our focus will be to provide services that will make the transition for men and women successful by furnishing the most favorable re-entry tools. The staff along with our dedicated partners are equipped to help those who are prepared to help themselves.

VISION

Is to assist both men and women ages 18-30 who have been incarcerated with transitional support. The services will comprise of career services, mental health and addiction counseling, housing, food, clothing and resources for transportation. Our staff will work with community liaisons to ensure all resources are available when needed.  We want to help individuals sever the cycle associated with bad choices, addiction, cynical behaviors and become positive influences in their community and families.

FACTS

In some instances the release of individuals has created a rotating door, as men and women are likely not provided with the tools needed to rehabilitate. They are given jobs with the lowest paid wages, lack of mental and physical health care services and in the state of South Carolina, restricted transportation. As a result it  creates a loss of self-esteem. Based on studies,  social support can make the difference for individuals who are faced with the complex challenges associated with leaving prison. This program can and will help any person interested in a 2nd chance. However you must be committed to wanting change.
